Can folks in the US with an S5 (or A5) confirm that the brake (tail lights) on their car has LEDs.... versus standard bulbs?

No A5/S5's (regardless of country) have LED tail lights.

Not sure why Audi hasn't got on board with rear LED's. Can't think of any cons on LED's except added cost but it is quickly becoming industry standard.

Bri - I couldn't agree with you more....

Audi speaks (ad nauseam) about how important LED technology is and thus why they are using it!

YET, the forgot about the tail lights? Must have forgot the car has a rear end too!

IIRC it was planned but wasnt ready in time for launch and is expected as as midlife change. The A3 revisions this July will include LED rear lights
