My 3.0tdi A5 has the Hologram aluminium centre console and door trims, however, I noticed the other day that the aluminium trim is standard alu trim (not Hologram) around the MMI display and dials...

Is anybody else's the same?

Yep, mines is the same. I would have thought they'd put the hologram around the MMI screen as well.

I liked the Hologram Inlays, but chose not to order because the inlay around the MMI would remain in platinum as you have noticed.

Ok - thanks for the reply... don't feel quite so frustrated by this now... Still seems crazy to me! It can't cost anything more really to produce the Hologram trim!
