[B8A5]

Good day guys,

I have A 2010 Audi A5 b8 with all the trunk lid light out. Including the license plate lights. I tried changing the bulbs and nothing.

I see somewhere there's a module that needs looking at but I don't see one!

If there's another thread talking about this I will gladly delete this one and trouble shoot there. But I have checked everywhere and can't figure it out. Dont want to give the police a reason to stop me with out licence plate lights lol

I don't have wiring diagrams for the B8 A5, but our A4 is similar enough: the license plate lamps are powered by the Comfort system control module -J393-, connector T32c, pin 14. Maybe check for voltage at this pin with lights set to ON. Also look at the ground connection, right side of the boot/trunk behind the trim (likely not far from the J393 module). --g
