Hi guys, just signing on to say hi to everyone and to say I finally took the plunge and got myself a V6tdi Quattro. Love it so far, 64 reg with 50k on the clock. Very little service history so I have booked in for the gearbox and Quattro servicing.

Only issue I have is I’m worrying about expensive problems it’s kinda taking away from my enjoyment. I’d think at 50k it will be pretty bulletproof especially once I’ve serviced the box etc. I’m planning on servicing it every 6 months, any recommendations for oil?

Had a nightmare, pulled out of the garage as if it was a FWD car put foot down and the back end swung out which was fun, I had owned it for about 5 minutes at that point.

Amazing car and it’s got some nice equipment just very cautious with it.

Welcome on board mate and er I wont mention yer name, Richard perhaps??? PLEASE show us some fotos of this car. In my experience you have bought the best version of this car cos the 3.0 diesel is as tough as they come, auto or manual?? Just change all of the fluids and filters and you will be good, I sold my A5 3.2 petrol at 200k kms and she was going GREAT!!!! And my current S4 is well over 200k kms and so far such fun!!!
