A5 2013 Help

Hi everyone, I bought my first ever car, Audi A5 2013 3.0 TDI 204hp, its not quite new but I'm very satisfied with it and I love it. I have few questions so I hope you'll help me.

1. I have MMI 3G+ (without SIM), and my current firmware is HN+_EU_AU3G_P0513 , are there benefits to upgrade to latest firmware version and what are the benefits ?

2. My satellite navigation shows wrong position and the option Set current location is grayed out and cannot be selected, also I tried manually input my location and destination but even with that my car shows wrong direction (like the compas is not working or something). I checked the satellites in the green menu and it says 0. Will firmware upgrade resolve this ? The previous owner told me that he never used the navigation since he didnt travelled anywhere

3. Why I dont have "Drive select" option ? There is no button and there is no option in the MMI, although I think with this kind of engine I should have that option.

4. I tried enabling multiple options from the green menu like foldable mirrors, air suspension, but none of them shows on the MMI after restart, I thought that car from 2013 should have at least foldable mirrors.

5. How can I activate optical view when car is in reverse ? (I have only rear sensors)

6. Any tips/tricks or some cool features about this car ?

@codermkd : Unless some MMI function does not function properly, updating the MMI software is not needed generally. The primary reason to update the MMI software is for current navigation database support.

Re the incorrect nav info, updating to the current MMI software may be helpful here. Better to have the car scanned for fault codes using a VAG-aware diagnostic tool like VCDS, OBDeleven, and similar. It may be that the GPS antenna in the roof aerial is unconnected or failed, which would be indicated by fault codes at Address 5F.

Re Drive Select, look under the floor of the boot/trunk and find the vehicle information sticker. Take a picture of this and post it here. This is an abbreviated list of build PR codes for the car. Our NAR '14 A4Q has Drive Select as PR-2H1, but it's not indicated on the vehicle info sticker. You can usually request a complete list of build codes for your car from the local dealer service center using the VIN. You can also get the complete PR code listing from erwin.audi.com with a 24-hour subscription to the service.

Re other options, like folding mirrors, these will be identified on the complete build PR code list. If they are not installed, you can "enable" their menus in the Green Engineering Menu, but the menus won't do anything if the equipment is not installed and coded/configured properly.

Re rear view camera, this is dependent on installation of the rear-view camera built into the rear (boot/trunk) lid handle. On our A4Q, the rear view camera is included in PR-7X7, "Park distance control in rear with rear view camera system".
The rear view camera will also have a control module at Address 6C "Back-up Camera" when it is installed. --g
