Hi sorry if this is old news to some of you 1.8 owners but i spoke to my dealer today who confrimed two software upgrades were available as a recall in my car, this will fix a persistent error message re the battery requiring charge and i am told will improve fuel economy (that is to be seen!).

Mine is due in next week, will report back.

PS i was told that customers are not being told about the recall untill your car is due in for service. My view is get it done asap.

Mine was in for some stuff last thursday and they did upgrade 27C5, whatever that is

Just got this update. Its about energy savings something about the battery.
