Hi All,

There seems to be a serious shortage of A5/S5 interiors for sale in Ireland...

Does anybody know if A4 seats (or any other Audi Models seats) Are compatible with the A5, I have B8 Sportsback although I'm not too pushed on changing the rear seats.

I have basic fabric seats with no electric motors so does this exclude me from getting any that are electric? Literally any leather seats would be a huge improvement although some sports seats would be ideal.

Any knowledge is welcomed!

Cheers!

From memory I believe several other users have reported back that indeed Audi have a general loom they've used for a lot of the car, so if you do upgrade your seats most people find the 1 loom already present underneath the seat and everything works once plugged in. I think the 1 caveat here is if the seat is heated or not the connector might not be present I believe.

Whether an A4 seat would fit in an A5 sportback I wouldn't know, but I would be surprised if it didn't as parts commonality is something the bean counters love when they can increase their profits!

Regards

Thanks, much appreciated

If A4 seats fit it really expands my options hugely. Good to know regarding the loom that they are universal between them, I could do without the heated seats functioning as long as they can move and look well in the car.

Cheers!
