A2

We are likely to be looking for an A2 in the next couple of months. Any ideas, views.

Would prefer as late as possible, ideally a Tdi (unless persuaded otherwise). Sport Spec looks good and ideally a Panoramic roof..

Also ideally not too high on the miles or too old, a 2004/05 (FL)would be best.

Cheers

could be worse Mr B

if either of my sprogs ended up with nans/grandads car it would either be a Hyundai Getz (silver, 3 door, boggo) or a Chevrolet lacetti 5 door (blue....mainly....the paint has dropped off the door handles so they are a grandads cardigan light beige)
Just been to look at x2 A2's at dealers.. what a pile of Pooh! Think we will try to sell Polo 2002 1.4 SE privately (only 28k miles and FSH) no known problems just dull. We can then look around with cash in pocket.

So another VW or a Seat - at least it keeps you loyal to the group :)

Or you could use the money from the Polo to get yourself a nice PP for the 7 ... hahaha,

Matt.
No such thing as a nice PP.. they are nearly as naff as the Eccleston girls RR seen in the paper yesterday!Washington - Kelakuan mengganti merek mobil dengan nama sendiri tidak hanya terjadi di Indonesia. Pesohor

No taste.
I saw Y5AVE on a conti. Thought that was quite a good one.
What is wrong with private plates?

rgbargie keeps posting that "Prats" have them but doesn't explain what's actually wrong with them. They seem to really offend the poor fellow.

Don't they seem to be an indication that someone either has no taste or has had a £100 lottery ticket win (+£80 transfer fee) and wants to spend it on something absolutely pointless..

Just my 2p and I do know many on here love them .. I just do not get it... caravaners and chavs do and a few of you folks... thank goodness we are free to express our opinion and views eh ;-0

personalisation...like lowering, supercharging etc only easier as only 4 screws are involved....

At my age 4 screws might take me an hour or two ;-)

A few bits of double sided tape makes for a more enjoyable time IMHO...

Hi RG

Sorry for the late reply, been in Turkey for two weeks.

Have a look at this weeks Autocar magazine dated 14th of August. There is a buyers guide for the Audi A2 in there.
Hopefully it's in large print.

Nah he only buys this Home - Practical Caravan

That and old copies of the German "Mayfair", as given his love of politics he likes to read about "bush"
I'm not sure RG would read that anymore.... He seems embarrassed about his previous life as a Bailey Pageant 7 caravan owner...... For all we know he also owned a BMW with a personalised plate....
not fair you buggers....taking the piss out of RG when he is unable to reply having gone to la belle france to try and bolster up its economy single handed by paying "local" prices for moonshine rouge. ffs they don't have running water or flushing bogs, let alone interweb.

well, they didn't when my dad was there in 1940..................shame more of the French weren't there at the time...he might not have spent 5 years in a POW camp in Poland..
