Can anyone tell me is there is a substantial difference between the "A" model S-Line/Sport Suspension and the "S" model suspension? I would expect the "S" models (S4 and S5) would have different spring rates to accommodate the heaver V8 engine.
Are there any other key differences, perhaps from A4/S4 experience?

The dealer told me that it's different. Not sure what's different about them though.

lol, simple really, the S-springs are a futher 10mm lower and stiffer, the wheel arches on an S is wider allowing fatter wheels in the case of the A5/S5 would be 225 vs 245, and and S5s get lazy 4.2s A5 gets little 3.2 3.0 1.8 2.7 etc etc etc. S models also gets uber cool S badges everywhere + S interior that you cant get on a A even with the S-line package S-line interior's stamped with "S-line", S5 interior's stamped with ..well have a guess.. yep S5 in big fat red and white letters. oh and S models also get their own bodykit, whereas S-line bodykits are a little more girlie.

S -line body kits are very very similar to S models!

Look at the A5, the only difference btwn the s -line and the S5 is the lip boot spoiler on the trunk of the S5 is a little more integrated than on the S -line!
The rear diffuser is different (s -line's is much better)!
And the front grilles are different! The S -line comes in all gloss black...while the S5's comes in chrome with gray color!

If anything, the S -line is the next best thing to the S models! That's why its called S - line ! duhhhhhh!

S -line is for girlies....haha!
Im guessing you don't have an s -line nor an S model and jealousy is playing a role so you are just commenting on other people who are happy with their S -lines !!

But in answer to your comments, the S-Line body kit does look similar to the S5 yes. Not identical, the S5 is still slightly more agressive.

Wah, I don't see the point in you replying to posts from way back in 2007 anyway. Blinky has not been active on the forum since October 2007. Also, I noticed a couple of other recent replies you made to "retro" threads where you were addressing members who haven't been active in over a year. Not sure I see the point, but whatever floats your boat.
