Site has some nice high-res, full screen video of the S5..the directors cut shows the S5 really tearing up the road and getting some good airtime! Also has some nice pictures of the S5 they were testing. Part 3 "Performance" coming out this friday.

For anyone that saw the 3rd part of the video review, at approx 1:47 of the video you can see the car's DRL lights rapidly flashing on and off is that him just playing with a switch or something that can be programmed from the VAG-COM?

Hmmmm... that's a very good question. I'm not sure how that was accomplished.

i've only seen that done on an edited video...but this would be great little display if its something that can be controlled. hopefully someone can figure this out.

Well got the answer to how the DRLs were flashing. From Emile:

"Anyway, regarding the DRLs, we found that to be interesting too when we first saw it on camera. It's not anything we did to make them flash like that. It is just a function of the camera's frame rate and shutter speed versus the speed at which the LEDs refresh that caused the effect."

Wonder if there's a way to change the refresh rate and what effect that would have on the look of the LEDs?
