Hi guys,

I have a audi a5 quattro from 2018 [F5] ... my navigation seems disabled... any idea what i need to enable this?

Interesting that in the 2nd picture, the database version is not displayed.
In the MMI 3G+ systems, navigation can be "disabled" from the Green Engineering Menu and by long coding using a diagnostic tool like VCDS. Don't know if it works the same in MIB2 systems. You should try to get a proper scan of the car using VCDS or similar VAG-aware diagnostic tool. Was navigation working previously for you in this A5 ? --g

Hi .... This car was imported from germany .... there it was working iḿ told.

The SD card was missing thought so i downloaded the 2022 maps ..... navigation is updating till 25% and then it says it is "disabled"

Audi changed the navigation licensing model/method for the MIB infotainment platform. My understanding is that the nav database license was valid for the first 5 or so navigation database releases after the production version, which meant that customers could do their own updates. In this case, a 2022 navigation database would need a new license from Audi, and only the dealer can do this. You may be able to restore to an earlier database version (say, early 2020 version), but I don't know where you might find this. --g

Went to the dealer and it is fixed ... just needed activation.
