After a motorbike run into my car and broke the front left headlights, I got new lights for the car and these had AFS and Cornering Lights.

Indicators, LED DRL's and headlights (including shutter) work alright. I however have a range adjuster error on the dashboard.

Does anyone have any experience doing such an upgrade? Are the pin outs on the wiring loom the same?

Hi JohnS4, the car is a 2012 A5 2.7TDI S-Line. I do not know from which car the lights came from except that they have AFS/Cornering lights.

I replaced the lights with lights that had the same specifications as the original ones. However, I noticed moisture in the replacement set, so the dealer brought another set that had extra features. Like i said in the post, the DRL's, Indicators and lights function normally except the Automatic Range Error on the dash as well as the cornering ligts not working

The part numbers for the headlight units. The open circuit error suggest a wire is missing for the turning motor. This thread may help
