Good morning, this is my very first post, so be gentle. Potentially picking up a 2010 S5 at the weekend.

I know the car has Bluetooth phone technology but none for streaming Spotify etc, I know the wife won't be best pleased by this as she loves her music.

Is there any way of changing the headunit to an aftermarket version to allow this, or is there any sort of adapter to enable this function.

I shall look forward to your replies and thank you.

Both are possible. I've got a 2011 s5 and actually didn't check about streaming, I assumed bluetooth was bluetooth :s

What I've done is buy a cheap bluetooth adapter for the AMI (Audi Music Interface) which plugs into a port in the glove box, it cost about £12. You can then pair your phone to it and stream. It's not great (no display or anything on the MMI) but does the job. The AMI is I think an optional extra? Not too sure if it's a specific thing on its own or if you get it with a particular other package.

There are quite a few aftermarket options, google something like RSNav or similar, which basically slaps an android tablet to replace your MMI screen. I think they are about £300-500 kinda money and then you'd either have to fit it yourself and whilst there are guides it looks quite complex, or find someone to fit it for you.
