2010 Phone prep low - changed spec.

Caution: The 2010 specification will come with a phone prep - Low 3G to match the 3G MMI/Sat nav tech package (UK). The existing rSAP adapter accessory that upgrades the pre 20007-2009 low prep to rSAP function, only works with the -low 2G version. This is now identified on the audi. co.uk / accecessories where it is stated for 2G only. I also had the garage techie confirm with the PM that it is not compatible with the new -low 3G. I guess they want us to order the -high package from the start.

back to a cradle form me but beware the list of available cradles for 2010MY -low3G has also been updated but with a reduced number of models options!

Dealer is advising 12 week lead time for an order placed on the factory today.
Specification was confirmed to be 2010MY for A5 2.7TDI Sline with a long list of options although the quote and fleet lease was listed as 2009MY. :2thumbsup::2thumbsup::cheers:

Thanks for the heads up. Do you know if they will have a cradle for the new HTC Touch Pro 2?

Update for those with 3G phone prep LOW: The 3G rSAP aftermarket adapter is now on the audi web site. :thumbsup:

Oooops! Just read the web page again and realized I read the 3G cradle adaptor page so ignore last post from me. However, I did receive an e-mail from Audi UK only yesterday stating that the 3G rSAP adaptor was expected "soon" although no date was provided.

FYI: The units are made by Paragon Finesse GMBH
