What are the symthomes?
my 1.8 feels like it has drop outs during acceleration with the pedal press about 1/3 in. Running at 1500 rounds up to 2400 r/min it feels like the power drops and comes back and drops again and so on.
It's not a manor thing, but you can feel the the car is not running straight.
Driving on the german autobahn with 210km/h and more a few minutes gave me a bad result.
The gas pedal didn't react anymore and the car lost speed and as it stood and no gear was insert, the motor went down to 500 rounds/min and went off. Had to reset the full software with a new setup...after the next testdrive i had the same problem...we don't know what is wrong. No lights came up, no issue is listed in the vcds....
Hope to hear from audi tomorrow and fix this unreal issue.

changed two parts today and the car drives as it should again. no drop-outs or something else.

excuse me, but i don't know the english words for the parts. in german it's called Magnetventil (N-75) parts number 06F906283F
and Schubumluftventil or Abschaltventil parts number 06F145710G.

both parts together cost about 80.- Euros, so it wasn't a big deal.
now i'm happy again with the car. :)

no! these two parts are located at the "Turbo Charger" take a look at the grafic in the link above.

and no, didn't get a fault code for the parts.
nobody could tell me what it is....i had fault codes on the presure of the charger...presure to high or something like that.
i did a test drive with VCDS on and watched some parameters...i got wrong fresch air in somewhere.
so my audi dealer said - and that's what i found out by my research on the inet as well - i should change these parts.
but he wasn't sure if this is really the problem or if there is some other things going wrong.
