Engine Oil Leak (2011 A5)

Good Night Everyone,

I just bought a 2011 Audi A5 Sline with a 2.0 TFSI Engine and after some checks I found out that I have a bad Oil Leak. I attached some pictures of where the leaks are. I believe it's the valve cover and oil pan gaskets. Please let me know if I'm wrong and if there are more things that need to be changed as I plan on doing the DIY myself. I bought the MAHLE Original HS54738 Engine Cylinder Head Gasket Set and MAHLE Original OS32421 Engine Oil Pan Gasket Set so far to change some of the gaskets.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

If I were you I'd do the upper leak first as it looks like this could be the culprit that's made its way down the bottom, there might not be a leak lower down.
With oil leaks like that it's always good practice to start at the top first.

I'm not sure without actually seeing it. I'm also not overly familiar with that engine or it's weaknesses, but I would imagine that the Cam cover would be a good place to start. Maybe someone else on the forum will be along soon to advise better than me.

As stated you should always start at the top and work down. And I would suggest a good pressure wash of the engine to clean away all of the oil, and then run her again so that you may be able to see where it is coming from?? Good luck!
