Urgent help required

I purchased a 2009 a5 sport on Saturday, when I picked the car up the oil level was just under the max, I drove the car home approx 150 miles and when I got home the oil level was down to a quarter, so I did the google thing and found all the horror stories about excessive oil useage. I got the car on finance and have today spoken to the finance company about rejecting the car, does anyone have any idea if I have a leg to stand on? Forgot to mention the car was purchased from a dealer but not a Audi dealer, thanks in anticipation
