Alloy wheel opinion

Chaps can I ask your opinion on these alloys (pics attached) a chap down the road from me is selling them for 1,350, I think they look really good, but I have an addiction to buying alloys, so need a second opinion before spending yet more of my kids inheritance on yet more rims. I have an S5 BE sportback in Daytona grey, currently sitting on hyper silver 20" twin seven spokes. Do you think these 20" rotors would be an upgrade and is it a fair price?

As an aside, would anybody be interested in the twin seven spokes (all unmarked)?

Thanks

Only if they're genuine. A lot of fakes of these designs.

Beep beep.

I think that they look great!!! Price is also good as long as they are genuine. Good luck!!

Silver 2008 A5 coupe.
3.2 V6 FSI 2WD automatic S line.
19" Y spokes with Pirelli P-Zeros.
162,000km. Full black leather interior. Love it !!
Recently had the wheels refurbished, bodywork polished, badges removed and fitted the pedal box booster. Full set of new Brembo discs and pads just fitted and calipers repainted in silver. New carbon mirror covers. Just replaced all 4 shocks too.

Taste is and remains subjective - the rotors are nice but I decided to get my 7 spokes OEM powdercoated instead of buying other alloys - cost 360 quid (which included required refurb as well) and so happy with the end result and the money I saved that way. Also for about 1500 you should be able to get some 10.5 wide concave alloys all round like Ispiri's. Just a thought ...

1,350 for alloys and no tyres is steep in my opinion. Also they have been refurbed, so do you know the quality of the job?

They look genuine, and importantly the concavity of them makes me think they are RS5 ones, but worth double checking the specs. Should be 9.5j(or is it 9.0J?)X20 ET26.

For reference I sold 4 20" rotors off an A6 that I had done in Hyper Silver with 4 Pirelli tyres (good 4mm left on all) for 1,000. Took me a while to find a buyer too.

Current: Audi S5 3.0 TFSI Black Ed. (65) - Sepang Blue

Sold: Audi A5 2.0 TFSI Sport (09) - Phantom Black

Thanks for the feedback, they are the RS5 rotors so do carry a premium over the less concave A6 rotors, I wouldn't pay 1,350, but was thinking 1,200. Having said that those powder coated 7 spokes do look good, might get a quote from Lepsons, could be the smarter way to go, just don't think silver compliments Daytona that well.
