Just a bit of fun really, so decided to test out Top Gear's 'Help me select the best car for me' interactive tool. http://www.topgear.com/uk/car-chooser-launch
To be honest, I am surprised, TG always appear to be the defender of the beemer, however in this test the A5 came out top with the only beemer being the 5 Series in the middle tier sandwiched between the A4 and the XF. Anyway, options selected as part of the process Type of car wanted: Coupe, Saloon and Convertible Price Range: £32,700 - £55,000 Then had a range of choices to select from re handling, comfort, etc so slide the all to the highest scale permissible...... The top 3 cars provided were Audi A5, Merc S Class, Audi TT. Interesting to see the 'S Class' sitting between the A5 and the TT and pleased to see that without TGs help I got the car they recommended anyway Will be interesting to see what others come up with as their ideal car. Cheers

Hey - what a fun tool!! You knew you had it right all along!!
IT WORKS!!! ...I asked for "Saloon" between £30k and £50k and said I wanted it quick, with stig-proof handling, and top-notch quality. The result?...The Jaguar XF!! Perfect, mine arrives in just two weeks! ![]()
