Default When is it safe to switch drive select

So I got my s5 last night and I am loving it so far but I'm worried I'm misuing the drive select. First off I should say that I really wasn't expecting to have drive select since we got the premium plus model which they don't even offer it on, also we didn't even pay for it. (thanks for the free $4,000 feature audi ) Now that I have it I have been enjoying it as much as I can while still trying to go easy on the engine since it is still new.
My question is when is it okay to switch between modes, is there a speed at which its not safe to switch? Should I be completely stopped before switching? Right now I just take my foot off the accelerator and switch modes.

I haven't heard any differently so I switch indiscriminately between the dynamic and individual settings while not at wot though. On my personal settings I have it set for "auto" for the suspension so when I know I'm going to be taking a curve (i.e. fwy onramp) at speed, I just hit the "->" button and voila. I wouldn't keep hitting the buttons though like you were trying to set a new world's record though. I hope this helps.

It is more likely that you have the sports rear differential option for $1,100 than the ADS for $3,950. Check your window sticker. You do get the ADS controls with the rear diff pkg. It controls the rear diff, the steering torque, the throttle response, and the shift points if you have an automatic.

Yea I have that, what would be the difference between the two?

The ADS adds to the above components two items: 1. Steering ratio change and 2. suspension dampening.

For the money, the Rear Diff Package is the best value.
