LOL. Your comments made me laugh a bit I admit...

Look, I havent gone with Black and Red, it looked good in my head (clearly on something at the time) and in full agree-ance it would of been a bad choice

Clearly I'm also a mental as that link only show me a picture of a S5 logo on a grille, but I'll take your word for it.

Lets hope the Ibis White and Black hood are a LOT better.

Wow they have removed the pictures from that page, odd I wonder why, maybe saw that they were taking lots of hits from here and read the comments and they weren't very positive haha.

Ibis White with a Black hood is very very nice, it is certainly what I would have done if I didn't already have a white car, well that or possible a navy hood, but anyway it will look great do not worry, white compliments the A/S5 very very well.

I've only just realised also that it's an S5 that's been debadged; why would anybody debadge an S5?

I plan to debadge mine too, mainly for symmetrical looks (I did remove all badges from all my previous cars).

Can I post you an extra S5 badge to put on the other side?

Hehe I'm joking, I appreciate your opinion, lots of people like to debadge their cars, I think the badge on the boot looks quite smart and enhances the car so I would never remove it.

I wonder officially what percentage of people order debadged cars from Audi and their other German rivals?

Small update...

Added DAB Radio (QV3) to my order...

order still says "Factory ordered" apparently...

On another note saw a blue type colour A5 Cab 2.0T Quattro parked near my house yesterday and the mirrors were folded in which looked cool... was kind of purple/blue with a black hood and the 5-Segment alloys... looked very nice. 09 plate.

this waiting is killing me!

I wonder.. I reckon more people leave the badges on to be honest... guess they dont even consider it an 'option' to even remove them..

The really light "Aruba" blue, or the really dark "Deep Sea Blue"? Or perhaps because there's a purple tint to it, neither of the above and maybe something exclusive?

Cant tell. Just had a look at the latest brochure to see if I can see what colour it was.

defo wasnt sphere blue, and Aruba blue is too 'blue'

I reckon it was Deep Sea Blue....

If its still there when I get home I'll snap a pic... my Audi A4 99' complete with missing trim and rust looked the mutts next to it as I drooled over the windows...

Yeah Aruba is very very bright, but Deep Sea is incredibly dark, there is no standard "in the middle" colour, hence why I took the Sepang Blue off the R8 colour list which is one of the most common Audi choices for those taking a non-standard colour and I'm wondering if it's that as when anybody asks me I describe it as a deep, but not dark blue, but has a purple appearance to it that the camera can't see as it's pearlescent.

I agree, it is like an 'in the middle' colour... but it defo has a 'purple' tint in the colour... as I say, if its there I'll snap a sly pic of it (as I have no idea who owns it) and post it up here..

If it was quite dark it might have been Tungsten/Ametist grey, that has a hint of purple in it.
