Here's a handy page! Tells you all the bulbs on the '08 Audi A5! This is for the model with xenons.
EDIT: wow, lots of options to replace the 2825s here it looks like (any of the WLED type lights, if I'm reading their compatibility page correctly. Last edited by houseofg; 24th March 2008 at 10:28 AM. |

I replaced all the interior lights in my mazda 3 a few years ago with these. A few things I can remember.
They are usually sold as 194 bulbs. They are not as bright as the stock lights especially if you go with blue or red LED's (I had the white ones) but the look more than makes up for it. It was by far the best mod I did to that car. Everyone commented on it. Make sure you check how much room there is for the bulb and how big the stock bulb is. I bought the 6 LED bulbs for my mazda and ended up having to dremel out the map light container to make room for the bigger LED bulbs. To stay on the safe side I wouldn't go larger than 4 LED's unless someone can confirm a certain bulb fits. Most of these LED bulbs are cheaply made and sometimes don't last very long so you might want to pick up a few spares. I got my bulbs from the ebay store warden_jp2002. |

Great advice - thanks, Rob. Good thing I have a dremel! This one looks interesting, but I am not sure about the draw...whether it would be a problem (35mA at 12 volt). Below is from the site:
WLED-WHP LED Wedge Base Bulbs ![]() High Power - Pure White 194/168 wedge base bulb This bulb has 1 High Power LED which is about as bright as the 6-LED bulb seen above At 4500K, the Color Temperature is between Warm White and Cool White |

Hopefully you guys get this all sorted out by New Years or so when I get my car. Also, that link you posted errors out, houseofg.
If you go to the main sylvania.com site and then follow the links for Consumer Products-->Automotive Lighting you can fill in the Manufacturer/Make yourself and find the parts listing. |

It may just take about that long!
Thanks for the heads up. Link fixed in original post. You'll just have to enter car info now. |

Thanks, I didn't have a chance to paste the right link. And make sure you hold on to your wedges for the next year or so.

So, I'm ready to buy some 2825s (maybe the type I showed above...?) but am concerned about matching the draw. How do I determine the draw of the current bulbs?
