Was it easy to replace? I have searched and most people says it needs lot of heating to take original gear stick off. But then on YouTube videos they show it's simple to take off with twisting locking nut anti clockwise.
Also on eBay there are different prices like for A1 you can get it for around £40 and the one advertised for A5/A6 are over £100

Fantastic build here! Interested to see where the new direction leads.
Well as i booked hotel in wörthersee, it should be something not too regular, but not too outstanding, as im total fan of OEM++++ look.
I ordered new suspension, i bought new wheelhubs, bearings, OEM RS5 exhaust backboxes which will be customized and lead by vacuumpump. I want to use one channel for quiet ride and one for showoff like at the moment. Mostly backboxes were bought to achive oem look, if you look into RS5 rear bumper exhaust tips...
RS5 sideskirts, frontbumper and rear bumper it means then.
And ofc, i must buy new rims, which is most critical at the moment.
Front brakes will be upgraded also abit, but nothin fancy.
Should look full rs5 conversion for TDI after that build. No FL nose. I just had to set some limits. This car is already way too expensive. I mean car price + whole that build story.
All details bought already and only rims missing at the moment. Bumpers and sideskirts are going to paintshop next week.
