Yeah... Nope. A rendering by Remco Meulendijk, a guy from the Netherlands. Looks good and probably not all that far from what the new RS5 will actually look like.

The front looks good, but the rear is kinda cheap looking.
Some weeks ago i could take a closer look to a new S5, i liked the engine and interior, but the outside isn't for me atm.

No, it will be 2.9 TFSI (a version of the biturbo currently used in the Porsche Panamera)

Really???? Shame, the 4.2 V8 is my dream engine. I love my 3.2 FSI and I would always choose a larger capacity normally-aspirated engine over a smaller turbocharged engine. Sigh...

Silver 2008 A5 coupe.
3.2 V6 FSI 2WD automatic S line.
19" Y spokes with Pirelli P-Zeros.
162,000km. Full black leather interior. Love it !!
Recently had the wheels refurbished, bodywork polished, badges removed and fitted the pedal box booster. Full set of new Brembo discs and pads just fitted and calipers repainted in silver. New carbon mirror covers. Just replaced all 4 shocks too.

Well the photos there confirm that the black edition S5 will look a heck of a lot better than the non BE assuming the bonnet line is pretty much the same as the S5/A5

I am not a big fan of the lines on the hood and heavy lines along the body. I still like the rounded look of the B8/8.5 A5/S5/RS5.

Agreed. Nice, but I prefer the older one and would still rather have a 4.2

I have not driven or experienced the naturally-aspirated 4.2L FSI engines but I can imagine the fun such an engine would provide for the driver especially the sound. However, I look forward to experiencing the new 2.9L TFSI V6 engine that has so much useable torque between 1900 to 5000 rpm which is practical for daily use. But, with a hefty 442 lb-ft of torque, it is going to be a beast when it needs to be one.
