Looking for AZ Body Shop that can replace S5 Grill with RS5 Grill and paint Calipers?

Hi Guys!

I'm looking to get my Calipers painted on my 2014 S5, as well as replace the grill with an RS5 grill.

Can anyone recommend a shop that knows Audi's and can do one (or both)? The dealer was no help.

TIA

Dwayne

The grill is not difficult to do yourself. There's loads of posts on here showing step by step how to do it.

I can't imagine painting the calipers would require a garage?? Unless there's something I don't know?

Hi,

Thanks...but I just don't have the space or the proper tools. I am a DIY guy...but not when it comes to my S5. I'd like to find a pro, who can do it right.

Still looking for some help in the AZ area?!

Hiya Dwane and is AZ Arizona????? I am like you, I love to do the er simple things but I tend to leave the tricky stuff to a pro and I pay him. You can however see several leads on here where the experts do stuff like the calipers so I always like to read up first and then go and get it done but using the info I have gained on here. As far as I know the calipers are fairly simple too (like the grill) you just need to remove the wheels, rub them down with a wire brush and or wire wool and then having masked the area you can use a tin or 3 of spray paint. AND I am sure one of our American members will be along shortly with some advise of who is a good guy to trust in Arizona.

Good luck!! And ps we would like to see some pics of your car please!!!

Just had the wheels refurbished, the bodywork polished, rear badges removed and fitted the pedal box booster.

Thanks so much for the replies...but I'm still hoping to find a shop...

My father was an excellent mechanic....he would have words for me...but this is my last baby (before retirement)...and I want to keep her in perfect shape. So if you can recommend a shop in Arizona....I'd love to hear about them!

Sincerely,

Dwayne

Did it myself...

Well Guys...after getting a quote for $ 200 per Caliper...I bought the G2 Caliper system and painted them myself. It was a bit scary jacking up my car...but it's done!

I'd give it a 8.5 out of 10!! Still searching for the Grill I want...but the dealer agreed to install that. Almost complete!

Red looks good! Also replacing the grill is extremely easy. Check the forum or a youtube video, as everything is bolt on so bumper removal is easy, as well as grill replacement. I did it in less than an hour after I knew where everything was and gathered the tools.
