HFT Sounds like its under water

So a few months ago I made a call in the car and the quality was terrible. Put the phone down and tried again and it was the same, oh great I thought.

Next day it was back to normal and I got on with my life.

Last 2 weeks I am now getting this quite regularly. Sometimes I can start a call with it being crackly and it sorts itself out after a few seconds, sometimes visa versa. But almost all calls experience it to some extent and I can tell right away as even the ring tone is crackly.

Has anyone experienced this? I am guessing some part of my MMI is on its way out.

Anyone know if this is going to be covered under my extended audi warranty as I know electrical stuff is generally not

After some internet research (into new bluetooth modules) it seems this is quite common when a phone is connected to multiple bluetooth devices at once. I have just got a smart watch so this would make sense.

I wonder how people get on with the tune2air and HFT connected?
